Every Moment Counts
Our life is made up of countless moments; and each moment is filled with many choices. It is each moment that decides the course our day takes. For every decision we make, we are provided with a reciprocated reaction.
Due to this reason, there is a consequence for every action. It is important to understand that each moment defines our storyline. The choices set us apart and provide us with the option to either do right or wrong.
Belly and the Wiseman is one such example written with the hopes of providing clarity on how every moment can produce a butterfly effect in life.
Throughout the book, Belly has been faced with moments where he has had to make decisions. He has been left sad and disappointed by many actions, which gave him the sense of what he did wrong.
We are all Belly searching for a Wiseman that can help us navigate the journey we refer to as ‘life.’
Every Choice Is A New Road
Imagine that the life we are living is a straight road. We journey in hopes of accomplishing our goals and even finding our purpose. At some point down the road, we are bound to see the road splitting into two separate paths.
Seeing as how the paths look similar, we reach a point where we have to continue down either path. This is the choice that we are given. Every situation may be different. The choices in the discussion may come in the form of career choices. You may have to choose between deciding on a hobby or which academic course to opt for.
The above paragraph, just like life, is filled with choices because, in its truest essence, that is what life is.
We are all just like Belly living a life of multiple choices. We might not always like the outcome of the choice, but we have to keep it ongoing.
In the book, the importance of having a mentor or guidance is shown to help the readers understand that the choices one has to make do not have to be without help. Sometimes the experience of others can help you make the right choice.
Can You Regain Control After Chaos?
Belly was faced with choices, decisions, and decisive moments. He did not always have the Wiseman to help him make up his mind. He often made the wrong choice, but he did not have to spiral down into an endless emotional abyss due to his decision in a single moment. He found the Wiseman and improved.
Like Belly, anyone can ensure that if a choice has consequences, then those consequences can be tilted in your favor. The book is a work of fiction, but if anything, it represents each of our lives and the everyday choices we have to make.
We may find ourselves in chaos after a choice, but we always have another choice to look towards.
